Web/Digital Marketing Specialist

With primary responsibility for administering Tekscan’s website, the Web/Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with a team to develop, implement, and optimize web and SEO campaigns to attract visitors, improve page performance, and drive conversions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate web strategy, goals, and milestones to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate on content with Program managers & Campaign Coordinator
  • Administer Tekscan Website:
    • Monitor the site to be sure that it is consistently dynamic and fresh, running smoothly, and attracting the quantity and quality of visitors we want
    • Work with marketing team to improve page performance and drive conversions on our website and our e-commerce platform
    • Update the home page regularly to ensure content is fresh and up to date
    • Troubleshoot functional issues including CMS issues and cross browser compatibility
    • Work with web development vendor to update Drupal (CMS) as needed
  • Develop and execute SEO and SEM strategies to drive targeted and high quality traffic to the Tekscan site
    • Analyze and report search engine rankings and value to the company
    • Develop relevant keyword and targeting strategies to improve organic traffic to our website
  • Development of visual assets
    • Collaborate with Program Managers & Campaign Coordinator to edit and format images for digital use

.Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support Tekscan marketing division social media initiatives across several platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Work with divisional marketing to align divisional initiatives with social strategy and to seek out blog coverage by industry analysts, medical journals, etc.
  • Monitor social presence and respond to social inquiries

The successful candidate will have proven experience with the following skills:

  • Excellent proven written communication skills, with the ability to craft succinct and compelling content to drive action.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and stay on target.
  • Solid understanding of lead generation and marketing campaign development.
  • Ability to work with a team collaboratively taking direction and input from multiple stakeholders in sales and marketing.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in content management systems (Drupal is a plus)
  • Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc)
  • Strong organizational, project management skills
  • Experience with CSS & HTML
  • Ability to work with a team collaboratively, taking direction and input from multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of graphical tools (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience with PPC/Google AdWords desireable but not required
