Event Spotlight: Learn System-Based Treatment of Complex Biofunctional Disorders

Dentistry is a challenging field. You never know what you’re going to see on any given day, and you’re often faced with complex and mysterious cases. For these instances, you’ll rely heavily on your experience. However, it’s also important to keep up with the latest treatment methods to help you best serve your patients. Biofunctional disorders are just one example where training can make a difference, and it will take the mystery out of such cases in the future.

Complex dental issues and chronic facial pain are often the combined result of underlying biomechanical issues. These can include craniofacial dental orthognathics, dentally deleterious medical conditions, and environmental issues. The Advanced Prosthetics Institute (API) is now offering a 2-day course in a series to demystify treatment for complex conditions such as these.

API has been established as the center for teaching and implementing the treatment philosophy of "Biofunctional Disorders". In this course, Dr. Jason Campbell will guide attendees through system-based treatments of biofunctional disorders and dento-medical issues.

Complex cases can be easier to diagnose and treat with this approach. This course will provide you with:

  • An understanding of the how biomechanical issues contribute to chronic facial pain, TMJD, migraines, biomechanical collapse, and erosion of natural dentition.
  • Evaluation, diagnosis, care planning, and effective treatment approach to these complex conditions.
  • Business practice management and patient management tools to attract new patients and immediately implement biofunctional disorder philosophies, which enhance patient treatment and practice profitability.

The event takes place March 2-3, 2018 at API in Prescott, Arizona. For more information, visit the event page by clicking the button below.
